About

I am a structural engineer, computational modeller, and Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at UET Peshawar, with more than 20 years of experience across structural analysis, numerical simulation, scientific programming, and engineering education.

My research focuses on the nonlinear behaviour and seismic performance of masonry and adobe structures using finite-element, discrete-element, and other computational approaches, with a particular interest in open-source software. My work includes nonlinear static and dynamic analysis, constitutive and material modelling, model verification, sensitivity studies, and engineering interpretation.

Alongside analysis and research, I develop engineering software and workflows that connect field data, BIM, GIS, AI, numerical solvers, and reporting. I aim to make complex engineering work more transparent, reproducible, and useful in both practice and education.
